Terms of Service

Short, and written to be read rather than clicked past.

The short version. Bitch Please analyses conversations and is not a lie detector, a legal service or a therapist. Do not upload material you have no right to share, and do not use it to monitor or harass anybody. You own what you upload. Cancel whenever you like. If it does not do what we say it does, we will refund you.

Agreeing to these terms

By using Bitch Please you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. You must be at least 18 years old.

What the service is — and is not

Bitch Please analyses conversations you provide and reports what does not line up internally. It produces a score measuring inconsistency, statements traced to the evidence you supplied, alternative explanations, and questions worth asking.

It is explicitly not, and must not be relied on as:

  • A lie detector. It cannot determine whether anyone is telling the truth. Inconsistency is not proof of deception.
  • Evidence. Its output is not forensic analysis and is not suitable for legal proceedings, custody disputes, employment decisions or anything similar.
  • Professional advice. It is not legal, medical, psychological, psychiatric or financial advice, and no professional relationship is created by using it.
  • A crisis service. If you are in danger or in crisis, contact emergency services or a crisis line in your country.

The output is generated by AI systems and can be wrong. It can misread a screenshot, misinterpret tone, or reach a conclusion the evidence does not support. Decisions you make about your relationships are yours.

What you upload

You keep ownership of everything you upload. We do not claim your screenshots or your messages.

You grant us the limited licence needed to run the service: to store your content, to transmit it to the AI providers that perform the analysis, and to display it back to you. That licence exists only to operate the product and ends when you delete the content.

You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload. The conversations you submit involve another person who has not agreed to this. Do not upload material obtained by accessing someone's device or accounts without permission.

Georgia law, specifically. Georgia is a one-party consent state for conversations: under O.C.G.A. § 16-11-62 you may generally record or keep a record of a conversation you were part of, without telling the other person. That covers the ordinary use of this product — screenshots of your own messages.

What it does not cover is obtaining a conversation you were not part of. Intercepting someone else's private communications, or using a device to observe or record activity in a private place without the consent of everyone observed, is a felony in Georgia carrying one to five years imprisonment, a fine of up to $10,000, or both. Accessing another person's phone, email or messaging account without permission can also violate Georgia's computer trespass laws and federal law.

Do not upload conversations you were not a party to. If you do, you are acting outside these terms and outside the law, and the consequences are yours. Laws differ elsewhere — several states require every party to consent — so if you are outside Georgia, check what applies where you are.

We do not use your conversations to train AI models, and we do not use them as examples or marketing without explicit opt-in consent.

What you may not use it for

You may not use Bitch Please to:

  • Monitor, surveil, stalk or build a profile of another person.
  • Harass, threaten, defame or humiliate anyone, including through share cards.
  • Upload content obtained illegally or without the right to possess it, including any conversation you were not a party to.
  • Upload sexual content involving minors, or any content depicting a minor in a sexual or abusive context.
  • Make employment, housing, credit, insurance or legal decisions about a person.
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits, rate limits or payment, including by automating account creation.
  • Scrape, reverse engineer or resell the service or its output as your own product.

We may suspend or terminate access for any of the above. Where we can do so safely, we will tell you why.

Accounts

You are responsible for the security of the email account used to sign in, because access to that inbox is access to your cases. Tell us promptly at security@bitchplease.app if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

You may delete your account at any time. See the privacy policy for what deletion removes.

Payment, renewal and cancellation

Bitch Please Unlimited is billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renews automatically until cancelled. Prices are in US dollars.

Georgia does not currently impose sales tax on software accessed as a service rather than downloaded, so no Georgia sales tax is added to your subscription. If tax becomes due in your state, it will be shown at checkout before you are charged.

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. We do not charge a cancellation fee.

If a payment fails, we do not cut off access immediately — the payment processor retries and your subscription remains active while it does. If it ultimately fails, the account returns to the free plan and nothing is deleted.

Refunds. If the service does not do what the pricing page says it does, email hello@bitchplease.app and we will refund you. We may decline refunds where an account has been used to abuse the service.

We may change prices. Existing subscribers will be told by email at least 30 days before a change affects them, and can cancel before it takes effect.

Availability

The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption, that any analysis will be produced within a given time, or that a particular AI model will remain in use. We may change, suspend or discontinue features.

Where an analysis fails after your usage allowance was reserved, the allowance is returned to you automatically.

Limits of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bitch Please is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any decision you make about a relationship, a person or your circumstances based on output from the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case the limitations apply only to the extent permitted.

Governing law and where disputes are heard

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Georgia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. If you are a consumer residing elsewhere, this does not remove any right you have to bring proceedings in your local courts where the law of your jurisdiction gives you that right and it cannot be waived by agreement.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect and the unenforceable provision is limited to the minimum extent necessary.

Nothing here restricts your ability to report a concern to a regulator, including the Georgia Department of Law's Consumer Protection Division.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.
